We welcome you with open arms to join us on this very special cruise as we depart from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on Sunday, March 25th 2018 aboard Royal Caribbean’s recently renovated ship, Freedom of the Seas. On this cruise we will visit 3 ports of call in the Western Caribbean, and will return back to Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, March 31st.  The theme for this cruise is the Miracle of Passover and God’s provision in the Resurrection. Passover literally means “to pass over” something and refers to God’s promise to pass over every household that had the blood of the sacrificial lamb on its doorpost on the night that He sent the Angel of Death to take the first born boy of every household in Egypt. (Exodus 12:13)  Passover is a profound celebration where we remember the deliverance of the Jewish people along with the redemption found in Yeshua (Jesus), God’s Passover Lamb.

Dr. Neil Lash, co-host with his wife Jamie Lash of the TV program Jewish Jewels, will teach on the history and significance of the Passover. Dr. Lash is the former Rabbi of Temple Aron Kodesh, which is a Messianic Synagogue in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. A highlight of this cruise will be the Passover Seder which will take place on the last night of the cruise.  We will have a traditional Seder meal during which we eat certain symbolic foods in a specific order, as “seder” means “order.”  This Seder will be interactive where all will have the opportunity to participate and experience this celebration to the fullest.

The Apostle Paul writes that the resurrection of Yeshua's (Jesus) is the most significant event in history for believers (1 Cor. 15), as our faith would be meaningless without it (15:14). Dr. Gary Habermas is the world’s leading expert on the historicity of the resurrection of Jesus. Dr. Habermas speaks about the resurrection around the world, and we are very blessed that he has agreed to be one of our speakers on this cruise. He is the Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Theology at Liberty University. He has written hundreds of articles and 35 books, including the award-winning “The Case for the Resurrection of Jesus” (2004) and “The Historical Jesus: Ancient Evidence for the Life of Christ.” He appeared in the movie “God’s Not Dead 2” where he was interviewed by television commentator Mike Huckabee on proving the resurrection of Christ though extra-Biblical historical evidence. An ordained Baptist minister and theologian, Habermas said his two goals in life are establishing the fundamental underpinnings of Christianity and walking with God every day. His website, www.garyhabermas.com, contains a wealth of sources for the resurrection. Habermas also has compiled a list of more than 2,200 sources in French, German and English in which experts have written about the resurrection and identified facts that are strongly evidenced and regarded as historical by a large majority of scholars, including skeptics. Habermas has debated at more than 100 universities around the world, including Oxford, Notre Dame and the University of Pennsylvania. Shortly after a debate with Habermas, the leading and most published atheist scholar of the 20th century, the late Antony Flew, recognized the existence of God. Wow!

Passover is a perfect time to celebrate marriage, both our spiritual marriage to Yeshua (Jesus), and our marriage to one another. Neil and Jamie Lash rejoice in marriage as a gift from a loving God. They have been married for 47 years, have two grown sons, one grandson, and have conducted many marriage seminars and retreats. They will be conducting a marriage rededication ceremony, complete with a Jewish wedding canopy (huppah), the appropriate blessings, the sounding of the shofar, and the loving declaration: “Ani l’dodi v’dodi li,”  I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. All married couples are invited to participate, and those who are not married or have spouses who are waiting for them in heaven will also have the opportunity to rededicate their lives to God during this joyous time.

Praise and worship is a big part of this cruise, and we will delight in that prior to teachings and devotions available throughout the week. Additionally, dance instructor, Dara Vidito, is popular and well-liked among both men and women wanting to learn Davidic Dance. She will be leading dance workshops for beginners as well as those who are more seasoned dancers. This is a time of celebration for all!

Friends, we are so blessed and honored that Maurice Sklar has agreed to join us on this memorable cruise. His exceptional musical ability began at age four and took him all the way to the world renowned Julliard School of Music. Since then he has performed and ministered throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the former Soviet Union, Asia, Israel and on multiple cruise ships. He ministers each year on Mike Huckabee’s tours to Israel and is very well received at churches and synagogues throughout the world. His music is anointed and fresh and through it, you will feel one step closer to heaven.

Solo travelers, we have some very special gatherings planned just for you where you will have the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with like-minded believers in a safe and relaxing setting. To make the cruise more cost effective, we will gladly pair you with a roommate if you register early. We ask questions to help us pair people with compatible roommates and provide contact info to roommates prior to the cruise. It’s also a great way to make a new friend and avoid the single supplement typically charged on cruises.

Children are welcome on this cruise and reduced rates are offered for kids sharing a stateroom with two adults. There are even some connecting rooms available with reduced rates for kids. Please call for details. Your children will have a blast at Royal Caribbean’s complimentary, award-winning Adventure Ocean Youth Program. Kids of all ages can share a high five with Shrek as part of the DreamWorks Experience. Catch a first-run movie in the 3D theater or poolside under the stars on the outdoor movie screen. While children are welcome to come to all group events if supervised by an adult, a very special CHOCOLATE SEDER has been planned for those who are ages 5 – 12.

All are welcome on this cruise, and we encourage solo travelers, couples, families and groups to register now. If you are a leader of a church, synagogue, singles ministry, or any organization filled with people who would enjoy being a part of this cruise experience, please let us know and we will gladly provide you with materials to share. Opportunities are even available to receive a free cruise, so please call or email for details!

Whether this is your first cruise or you have sailed the seas multiple times, you WILL be blessed like never before on this very special voyage at sea. The Freedom of the Seas will take us to various islands in the Caribbean, but it truly will be an island in time set aside to relax, learn, fellowship, and draw closer to the God who loves you deeply.
